Graveyard

Crossing the northern bridge, one is met with a small grove of oak trees which stand scattered in a near circular formation. Once passing through the barrier one is met with a small grassy clearing, an oak tree standing in the center that towers over all the rest. Graves are particularly placed with each clan’s fallen buried on either side of the tree. Beneath the large oak tree are two stones; one covered with fireflowers and the other adorned with pathos. At dusk the graves are illuminated with fireflowers, glowing mushrooms, and other offerings provided to the dead. The grove is a place of peace, often the medicine cats meditate within its grounds upon the new moon. Many feel as which this is the place they are most connected with the dead and feel as if they are with them again.
