Known for its simple mechanics and exciting plots, it made many original members get nostalgic over it years later. So in early 2021, Elle (Roanstar) created "Bryniel: The Last Tale", with Flint's permission (original Bryniel owner). Now it's a full fledged site where members old and new can give our old characters resolution and enjoy a more mature take on our roleplay. ⋆ Where do i start?We recommend joining our Discord first, as it's the best way to communicate with other players! After that, you might want to read up on our Lore. ⋆ How do I create a character?We strive to make the experience as easy as possible. There's no need to make an application and get it approved. Simply get familiarized with the setting, think up your character and start rping! There's a Character Roster on Discord for you to add your name if you want, but there is no filter to pass before you can join. ⋆ CAN I BRING BACK AN OLD BRYNIEL CHARACTER?Yes! They are somewhat older now, as five years have passed between the last Bryniel roleplays and Bryniel: TLT. We're flexible with you wanting to age down your character a bit, or not making them an elder until 10+ years. ⋆ WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE 5 YEAR TIMESKIP?At the end of Bryniel, the Clans and Starclan broke relations and the ancestors went silent. Shortly after the Clans were consumed by their own petty wars and twolegs took over the forest territories. For five years the clanless cats lived as loners or rogues, and the cats born during this period were raised with stories of the old Five Clans, though they never experienced clan culture until now. ⋆ How did these new clans come to be?After five years of wandering in silence, cats from the old clans were drawn to a distant mountain that forgotten nursery tales warned against visiting. The cats were trapped in an unnatural darkness for a while, until the spirits of Sun and Moon offered them a deal: they would have the clanners' worship in exchange for bringing back the dawn. The desperate cats agreed, and now live as Sunclan and Moonclan in the rich mountain. ⋆ HOW LONG AGO HAVE THESE NEW CLANS EXISTED?They were founded in winter of 2020. ⋆ HOW DO I USE POSTING BOARDS/CODES?There are many sites where you can find proboards codes and templates, such as this, this and this. You need to log in to these sites to view the codes. Once you see one you like, copy the code, make a post on Bryniel and as you write, toggle from "Preview" to "BBCode" under your writing. Paste the code there, then type your post in the code's designated text area.
