Join us in an exciting story full of twists, new discoveries, a rich mythology and the search of what lays at the core of the Clans of the mountain. After sealing a pact with two fickle gods, Helios of the Sun and Aletheia of the Moon, twin clans live under the shadow of their pact, and the price paid to live another day.
YOU CAN APPRECIATE THE LIGHT... BUT BEFORE THAT, YOU MUST KNOW DARKNESS.
The Sun and Moon rain down chaos and tragedy over the Clans, as punishment for crimes finally revealed. Tension rises between both groups as they're forced out of their homes, and a call from the past haunts those with enough sense to listen.
We never learn, the mistakes made all those years ago back in the forest still follow us. What will it take for us to learn from the past? How do we do better when fate is against us, stringing us along like puppets? I fear it's a lesson we're soon about to face, whether we want to or not.
After two seasons of peace and the hopeful start to the rebirth of the Clans, both leaders meet an untimely end. With Palestar and Cinderstar gone, their deputies Brightflame and Spiritchaser step up to claim the crown. Aletheia, Goddess of the Moon, blessed Spiritstar and confirmed her as Leader of Moonclan. Brightflame's heart was dark with resentment toward Helios however, and the God of the Sun grew wroth at her insolence. A young warrior named Fallingsun intervened, and with ambition clouding his reason he struck a deal with the God, losing an eye and gaining nine lives. Now Spiritstar and Fallingstar must pick up the pieces their predecesors left, as Sunclan and Moonclan struggle to get back on their feet.

CHAPTER TWO: THE DARKNESS THAT HAUNTS US
The Sun and Moon are fickle gods, and yet their light is all we have to guide us through the darkness ahead. Day and Night strive to prove their faith, to stay true to their vow and keep us safe from harm... But now a greater threat unveils itself, and gods and mortals must join forces unless we let our mountain enshrouded in snow and death.
Moonclan and Sunclan slowly but surely adjusted to the new status quo, and although many raised their voice against the Gods, life was generally peaceful. This came to a sudden end at the new high ranks' first Gathering however, as a sudden snowfall awed some and terrified others. The curious weather was well received at first, but it rapidly devolved into a deadly hailstorm that lasted all night. The morning dawned cold and grey, as a midsummer winter settled over the mountain. Confused and weary, the clanners decided to celebrate the usual Sunrise Festival to honor Helios, in hopes that the spirit could dispell the snow. But Helios was not the only one drawn to the festivities.
It came cloaked in shadow and mystery, a spirit vile, vengeful and evil. Helios named it Azaris, originally the deity of nature. As humankind destroyed the forests Azaris grew mad with grief, and its only desire now to burn down all of his creation so that it may start anew, killing all who come between it and its goal. Both spirits warred over Sunclan's territory and eventually Helios managed to chase off the forgotten god, but the threat of its power hangs heavy in the air.
