YOU CAN APPRECIATE THE LIGHT... BUT BEFORE THAT, YOU MUST KNOW DARKNESS.
The Sun and Moon rain down chaos and tragedy over the Clans, as punishment for crimes finally revealed. Tension rises between both groups as they're forced out of their homes, and a call from the past haunts those with enough sense to listen.
What a normal day within the Clans. Periwinkleshade laid within the Queen's den, licking the heads of her four-moon olds. She and Fissuecoat, proud parents, as the mother's tongue brushed eat head. Once the sandy tongue reached a chimera kitten, Splitkit, his eyes opened, his heterochromic eyes being brought into view and his ebon pupils scanning around. He let out a small grumble as his brother, Lilackit, stumbled over him in attempts to lay within his mother's arms. His fluffed ears flicked, seeing his sister was still sleep. Getting to his paws, he stretched out his body before facing the den entrance, then looked back at Periwinkleshade. She pondered for a bit before nodding, and allowing him to leave ahead of his siblings, knowing how they can be overbearing. Splitkit's tail rose and he exited the nursery, his eyes glistening against the shrouded sunlit camp.
Splitkit sat down a few steps from the nursery den and gave a small solemn sigh. Only a few months old, and he enjoyed the feeling of being outside such a confined space. Shortly, coming from behind, his routy siblings, and this caused him to move out the way of them tackling and fighting with eachother. He rolled his eyes; what uncooth behavior. His dark pelted mother gave a lick to his forehead before allowing him to venture further into the clan. He stood to his paws with a look of relief then padded on.
There were many sights and such; bigger cats, a pile for food, apprentices and their mentors heading out to train. He couldn't wait! Glancing to the side and allowing his head to follow, was the medicine cat den. Truthfully, the tom-kit was curious...
He turned his tiny paws and padded toward the mount den that belonged to Baystorm, the clan's medicine cat.
