build • slightly smaller than usual, pretty average bulk eyes • deep, amber orange fur length • soft, fluffy tufts on tail and cheeks, otherwise medium-fluff, not longhaired. notable features • left ear torn overall looks • cedarpaw is an overall dark-toned brown color with ghostly patches of a much more tan, sandy brown, dusting over his shoulders and tail. his tail is dipped in snow, the white tip the lightest spot on his pelt. otherwise, he's got faint white stripes on his forelegs and his lower back. he's got pumpkin-orange eyes, and a tear on his left ear.

He doesn't want others to dislike him, so he tries his hardest in training to get as much done as possible. However, his lack of attraction to playing with others as a kit has set him back a bit, and he has to work extra hard to stay on track. He is always trying to train, and does not think about the impact this may have on others. Cedarpaw's focus on training means he does not always have time for others, and he can get easily irritated when they are off-task or just want to play around instead of work. He believes everyone should have the same drive as he does, so he can tend to judge others. This judgmental flaw translates to things outside of work ethic, but he tries his best to not let it impact how he sees everyone around him.

kithood • cedarkit was the firstborn of a litter of four. he came out smoothly, but his younger sister got stuck in his mother's birth canal, causing her and the following two kits to suffocate inside of their mother. mousewhisker, due to the birth conditions, died that night, leaving cedarkit alone to be raised communally by the remaining queens. he was always distant from the other kits, and did not have an inclination for playing. he lacked the development of vital skills because of this, which later would hinder his abilities to train. cedarkit was known as rather sad. he never knew his father - at all, as his mother was never around to speak of him, and the other queens either did not know, or did not care to share.
apprenticeship • he became an apprentice to cariboucloud, a warrior he knew to be soft. in training, cedarpaw has a hard time picking up on things. he is not stupid, or slow, he is simply a delayed learner. once he does pick something up, he excels. one day, cedarpaw decided to explore the territory on his lonesome, fresh into his training. he chased after a squirrel who apparently did not find him threatening. the squirrel attacked him on the spot, ripping a decent sized chunk of his ear out. this is the day he learned to be sure of himself, or not to attack something.
