After sealing a pact with two fickle gods, Helios of the Sun and Aletheia of the Moon, twin clans live under the shadow of their pact, and the price paid to live another day.
YOU CAN APPRECIATE THE LIGHT... BUT BEFORE THAT, YOU MUST KNOW DARKNESS.
The Sun and Moon rain down chaos and tragedy over the Clans, as punishment for crimes finally revealed. Tension rises between both groups as they're forced out of their homes, and a call from the past haunts those with enough sense to listen.
The cold leaf-bare wind was nipping into the orange and white tabby she-cat’s long pelt. One of the things Marigolddust was grateful for was taking after, her mother Bramblemouse for her thick pelt. “Up with the sun you are my dear.” the simple words echoing in her head from her mother this morning. “Only because Streamsong stepped on me returning back from the night patrol when she was going back to her nest.” Consequently, the she-cat had gone fishing for herself to add to the fresh-kill pile. Marigolddust, entering back into the camp as she carried the larger fish. ‘At least I managed to catch this with how leaf-bare is coming and prey is hiding more.’ Swallowing down the thought as her paws moved heading towards the fresh-kill pile with her hazel eyes focused ahead of her.
Unaware of anyone as the larger she-cat tripped over a rock and letting gravity do its thing. “Mmmppphh mmmph” the hums escaping as the orange and white tabby dropped her fish and collided into a harder object sending her to stumble back. Marigolddust, shaking the dizziness from her head for a moment as she veered back to see which clan-mate she had run into. “I’m sorry-so-sorry….Fr-Frozenlake right?” raising her brows as she raced through all the names in the clan before settling on that with a quick wiggle of her bobbed tail in hopes she got his name right. ‘So embarrassing for running into him and now probably getting his name wrong.’ The thoughts making a nervous small smile form onto her facial features. “Might as well call me Stumbledust and you Treelake with what just happened.” A half laugh escaping as she tried to joke to her clan-mate.
